Season Finale of BIG SEXY Review and Recap

Finally, Finally, Finally- we’ve finished our recap and review of TLC’s BIG SEXY season finale. This episode focuses on the launch of Heather Roach’s Heather Feather Couture bra and swimwear line in Miami!

After some cardio pole dancing lessons and a great introduction about the history of Heather Feature Couture, the Big Sexy Five head down to Miami for the debut and photo shoot! Heather asks Nikki to be a model for her bikini line, next to a straight model. Whoa! Pretty cool, if you ask us!

After some time out, the five decide to head out Mango’s to on the hunt for some men! And, boy do they find them! Leslie, Audrey, and Nikki wind up danding with some male dancers on stage. Or maybe they were strippers. We’re not sure. It’s all fun and games until Audrey flips the script on the male dancers and picks them up right off of the stage. Now, that’s BOLD! 

Back to work- Nikki is really concerned about posing in a bikini, especially with regards to her stomach. We also learn about Heather’s brother, Jason, who’s passing became Heather’s inspiration for her bra and swimwear line. But, the photo shoot looks absolutely incredible. And, we love that they shot both models in the same photo shoot. How cool? Nikki looked phenomenal. Audrey’s makeup was gorgeous. And Leslie’s styling prevailed, too!

Meanwhile, Tiffany is a bit concerned about her own modeling career based on Nikki’s success. She talks about her struggles as a model and discusses her support system with Audrey.

Of course, afterwards, the girls meet the ugly side of Miami: the weight and size conscious side. After some drinks, they head to the beach and are confronted by an obnoxious man screaming out “Heavy” and “Big Girls.” But, they definitely triumphed at the beach when they completely owned their bodies. It was so cool to see! And they played beach volleyball with some good looking college boys! And, Audrey, the All-American college volleyball player helped the rest of her volleyball-star team beat them! Nice job, ladies!

We really got to learn a lot more about Heather Roach during this episode, which was something we were really hoping for! If you haven’t seen our article on her, check it out. Her laid back style is an awesome change of pace and we wish her so much success!

We also learned about Tiffany. Bank decided to head home just a few minutes landing a HUGE gag. Obvious Magazine called her to let her know she landed an editorial on the cover. Yayy!

All in all, the ladies really found success during the finale. Good for you, gals!
