Sara and Andy Neitzert to Debut Marceline Tonight at 8PM

Everyone remembers Sara Neitzert, our very FIRST Beautiful and Inspirational Feature article subject! If you’re not familiar with Neitzert, she’s an ALL STAR who works in marketing, cares for her newborn, Lilly, AND produces and directs independent films with her husband, Andy. Well, if you’re in the Marceline Missouri, area, be sure to check out her latest work, Marceline!

Summary:

In the spring of 2007, a film school student and avid Disney fan, came to Marceline. His intentions: make a three part documentary about Walt Disney’s life before Mickey Mouse. After spending only a day in town he knew this would be a wonderful story to tell. Andy Neitzert spent almost two months interviewing several members of the community as well as Going through Marceline archives. What he has created is a documentary telling the story of Marceline and its ties to Walt Disney. The film will be screening on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon of Toonfest weekend. Andy will be available for a Q&A after both screenings.

Both screenings are free of charge.

There will be an after-party at El Cimarron Mexican Restaurant across the street from the theater immediately following the Friday night screening. Full staffed bar.
