In episode 6, Jane and Grayson team up for a case involving a faulty oil rig and the death of one of its engineers while Jane battles the uncertainty of Owen’s whereabouts and what it means for their upcoming nuptials. Meanwhile Parker enlists Kim’s help in a custody hearing for his son Eric when his ex, Elisa, hires a tough, high-profile attorney, Kelly Stevens, to fight for sole-custody of Eric. Features guest star Joan Rivers, Brandy Norwood and Serena Williams.

Sure, Jane is over the moon as she discuss the Christmas-like avalanche of engagement gifts with her assistant Teri. Then the news is quietly slipped in that Owen has taken off to visit an old friend. Couple that with what creator Josh Berman teased to us (“We’re going to learn some things about Owen that I don’t think anyone saw coming”), and we’re a bit worried — but happy for poor, pining Grayson!
