Christopher and Kristina Salute, Bold Magazine

For years, Christopher and Kristina Salute have been racking their brains for something they were passionate about. With backgrounds ranging from business to psychology to communications, they had a tough time finding an idea that would excite and engage them. That didn’t stop Christopher from pitching Kristina some crazy ideas over the past few years. But, Kristina makes a mean chocolate chip cookie, Christopher’s kryptonite, which seemed to shut him up for a while.

One evening, after dinner with some friends, and meeting an incredible young woman who was running her own web business, Kristina and Christopher were discussing the idea of starting a business that was fulfilling and rewarding. Christopher had been holding on to an idea for years, afraid to let anyone in on his vision. Finally, Kristina asked “What are you most passionate about? Tell me something you think you could do every day.”

And Christopher told her about Bold Magazine, a place where women could find REAL role models and aspire to be more than pretty faces on reality shows or movies. They decided that they wanted to be a place where everyone felt comfortable and everyone had a say. You can be who you are at Bold Magazine.

The next morning, they got started on what would be Bold Magazine Online. They have gotten so much incredible feedback and plan on issuing their first full print issue by the beginning of 2012. Their tag line “Be You. Be Bold” says it all. Just be yourself. What you’re doing is incredible. And, they want to hear about it, and showcase you!

What started as a “wacky” idea is turning into a fun and empowering magazine for young woman. Chris and Kris are so happy to turn their dream into a great resource for you.

So, I guess you could say….they are pretty BOLD themselves!
